Gem Precious is a dynamic dance DJ, known for bringing energy, technicality and fire selections, on up to four decks, to create exciting live shows.
One of Gem’s highlights was being chosen to be a support act for Becky Hill, performing a complex 3 deck set to 20,000 people. Other support slots include Sammy Virji at Spring Break Amsterdam and Jess Bays at Sneak at XOYO, where Gem is a resident DJ. She has also played afterparties at Alexandra Palace for Sonny Fodera, Maribou State, Little Simz and Fatboy Slim as well as sets at Ministry of Sound, Phonox and Egg.
Earlier this year, Gem was crowned Winner of the prestigious B2B DJ Battle, beating out 7 other DJs by demonstrating a blend of power mixing, live acapella sampling and crowd-reading.
As a producer, Gem’s tracks have set dancefloors alight at Fabric, XOYO and Elrow Town, with radio support from Data Transmission, Select Radio & Akin on G Shock Radio.
Gem also took over from Huw Stephens as one of the main stage resident DJs at Reading Festival, warming up for artists including Disclosure, Central Cee, Dave and Bru-C.
